The Medieval Association of the Pacific hosts an annual conference, typically in the spring, with the objective of bringing together scholars of the global medieval world. Presenters represent a range of disciplines and career stages, from graduate students to senior scholars.
MAP supports participation in its annual conference in two ways: through the John F. Benton Award, which offers travel support for up to three MAP members with demonstrated financial need who are participating in the MAP annual conference or another relevant conference; and through the Founders' Prize, which recognizes up to three graduate student papers delivered at the conference. For additional information, visit the Grants page.
MAP's 2018 conference will be held jointly with the Rocky Mountain Medieval and Renaissance Association and hosted by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV, April 12-15. Click here for more information.
