Immediate Past Conference: 2017

The 2017 Meeting of the Medieval Association of the Pacific took place 16–18 March 2017, at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. The conference was organized around the theme, "Preserving and Presenting the Medieval." Zrinka Stahuljak, Professor, Department of French and Francophone Studies and Comparative Literature at UCLA gave a keynote presentation, titled “On the Medieval Potential.” A special Saturday evening program was held at the J. Paul Getty Museum, where Nancy Turner, Conservator, Department of Paper Conservation, The Getty Museum, presented on “Observation and Image-Making: Medieval Illuminations and the View from L.A.”
