CALL FOR PAPERS – 2026 Conference of the Medieval Association of the Pacific University of New Mexico, Albuquerque (hybrid)

The program committee welcomes submissions on any topic related to the study and teaching of the Middle Ages broadly construed. We particularly encourage proposals for papers or panels that focus on the conference theme, “Medieval Enchantment," with all that could entail.

Priority deadline for proposal consideration: December 15, 2025. Rolling consideration of proposals, space permitting, through January 12, 2026.

To submit a proposal

Please submit a title, an abstract of 250 words, indication whether you will present in person or via Zoom, information on audio/visual needs or other special requirements, and a CV of not more than 3 pages to heather.maring@asu.edu. Full panel submissions are welcomed; please provide a session title and 150-word abstract in addition to the above information for presenters.

Priority in review and scheduling will be given to proposals received before December 15, 2025; a response will be provided by January 15, 2026. Should space permit, additional proposals will be accepted for review on a rolling basis through January 12, 2026, with a response within two weeks of submission.
