Annual Conference

The Medieval Association of the Pacific hosts an annual conference, typically in the spring, with the objective of bringing together scholars of the global medieval world. Presenters represent a range of disciplines and career stages, from graduate students to senior scholars.

MAP supports participation in its annual conference in two ways: through the Benton-Mahoney Award, which offers travel support for up to three MAP members with demonstrated financial need who are participating in the MAP annual conference or another relevant conference; and through the Founders' Prize, which recognizes up to three graduate student papers delivered at the conference.  For additional information, visit the Prizes page.
